Whisker Why is edited by Erdi Doğan. We read every message about errors, outdated information or a source that says something different from what we wrote, and we correct answers when we get something wrong.

We cannot answer questions about a specific sick cat. If your cat is unwell or may have eaten something toxic, call your vet or, in the United States, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center at (888) 426-4435.
